MINSK, 27 October (BelTA) – The unemployment rate in Belarus fell to a record low of 2.4% in Q3 2025, down from 2.6% in Q2 2025, BelTA learned from the macro review of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB).
Pressure on the labor market is easing, with the number of open vacancies declining for a third straight month to reach their lowest point since January 2025. The labor market is stabilizing amid a slowdown in production growth.
“The government’s policy of engaging citizens in the labor market drove the employment rate to a new record high of 69.1%,” the EDB said.
