Belarusian Invet reaches markets of Switzerland, Netherlands, Turkey

VITEBSK, 14 March (BelTA) – The Verkhnedvinsk-based company OAO Invet has expanded its geography of sales. The company now sells its products to Switzerland, Turkey, and Netherlands, the company's Director General Sergei Gromadko told BelTA.

In 2018 Invet Company delivered a large batch of calf boxes (350 pieces) to a major Swiss dealership, cooperation with which will continue this year. Smaller batches of products designed for agriculture were shipped to Netherlands and Turkey.

The company is now working hard to step up presence in Europe. Regular cooperation with partners from Poland, Lithuania, and Finland has been established. The list includes a total of ten countries. They account for over 20% of the total export volume. Invet products have been shipped to Italy, Spain, and some other countries for the sake of testing the market response.

According to the source, the company exports the bulk of its output to Russia where products made by the Verkhnedvinsk-based company enjoy a steady demand. Invet products are known well in all regions of Russia. This mutually beneficial cooperation grows stronger all the time. For instance, in early 2019 Invet made a large number for calf boxes for the agricultural holding company RusMoloko.

In 2018 the public joint-stock company (OAO) Invet made Br17.4 million worth of merchandise, 103% as against 2017. Profitability of sales totaled 12%. Export accounted for 20% of the total sales. The company offers over 300 products and adds about 20 titles to the product range every year. OAO Invet employs about 250 people.
