CHISINAU, 12 April (BelTA) – Belarus’ tourism potential was showcased at the Chisinau international exhibition Tourism. Recreation, Hotels that opened on 11 April.
Representatives of the Belarusian Embassy in Moldova and the Belarusian diaspora presented information materials prepared by the National Tourism Agency of the Republic of Belarus. Among them were advertising and information publications “Ten Reasons to Visit Belarus”, “Cultural Tourism in Belarus”, “UNESCO Heritage”, “Welcome to Belarus” and a number of others. Participants of the exhibition got a chance to see a presentation video as well as printed materials in Russian and English on agro-tourism, cultural, historical tourism in Belarus. Materials on Belarus’ tourism potential rose big interest among Moldavian and foreign travel agencies.
Attending the opening ceremony of the forum was acting Vice Premier, Economy Minister Valeriu Lazar.
The international exhibition Tourism. Recreation, Hotels is a significant and large-scale event in Moldova’s tourism industry that features the latest tourist trends. This year partaking in the forum are nearly 100 companies from Moldova, Belarus, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Greece, Spain, Ukraine and other countries. The exhibition displays a whole range of tourist proposals and services of local and foreign companies. The expo showcases all areas of domestic travel: reserves, pilgrimage, rural tourism, museums, historical monuments, etc.
The business program of the forum comprises seminars, business meetings and presentations. The exhibition will stay open until 14 April.
