Gold for Belarus in women’s synchronized trampoline at 3rd CIS Games

MINSK, 3 October (BelTA) – Belarusian trampolinists Yana Lebedeva and Katsiaryna Yarshova secured gold in the synchronized trampoline event at the 3rd CIS Games in Azerbaijan, BelTA has learned.

The women's final featured pairs from six countries. Yana Lebedeva and Katsiaryna Yarshova scored 51.54 points for their routine, securing the top spot in the final standings. The Belarusians finished one and a half points ahead of the Russian silver medalists, Anzhela Bladtceva and Sofia Alyaeva. The podium was completed by representatives from Azerbaijan.

The gold medal is the third one for Yana Lebedeva at the 3rd CIS Games. The athlete previously won the individual trampoline event. The Belarusian trio of Yana Lebedeva, Katsiaryna Yarshova, and Viyaleta Bardzilouskaya also took first place in the team event.
