Belarus names squad for 2021 IBU World Championships in Slovenia

MINSK, 10 February (BelTA) – Belarus has named its roster for the 2021 IBU World Championships which start in Pokljuka, Slovenia on 10 February, BelTA has learned.

Competing in the men's events will be Anton Smolski, Sergey Bocharnikov, Maksim Varabei, Mikita Labastau and Dzmitry Lazouski. Belarus in the women's events will be represented by Dzinara Alimbekava, Iryna Kryuko, Hanna Sola, Elena and Irina Kruchinkina.

The 2021 IBU World Championships will take place in Slovenia's Pokljuka on 10-21 February. The competitions will kick off with a mixed relay at 17.00 Minsk time on 10 February. The championships participants who include athletes from Norway, France, Germany, Russia, Switzerland, Italy, Finland, the United States, Ukraine, Austria, Poland, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Canada, Estonia, Slovenia and other countries will also compete in sprint, individual, relay, pursuit and mass start competitions.
