GRODNO, 15 November (BelTA) – Several hundred refugees have amassed in front of Poland's Kuznica checkpoint, BelTA has learned.
The Poles brought a water cannon and lifted a helicopter.
“On the morning of Monday, 15 November, the refugees picked up warm clothes, tents and sleeping bags. By noon they gathered in a large column and began to move towards the Bruzgi checkpoint. The refugees emphasize their exclusively peaceful intentions and are ready for any developments. At the head of the column are women with small children. Belarusian border guards continue to ensure safety and order both in the makeshift camp and along the way the refugees are moving,” official representative of the State Border Committee Anton Bychkovsky said earlier.
