Palace of the Puslovskys in Kossovo welcomes almost 120,000 visitors in 2024

BREST, 14 January (BelTA0 – The Palace and Park Complex in Kossovo drew almost 120,000 visitors in 2024, BelTA learned from the cultural institution.

The complex includes two attractions: the Tadeusz Kosciuszko Memorial Estate Museum and Palace of the Puslovskys. In 2004 the complex welcomed over 117,000 people, which was more than in 2023 (109,000 tourists). “The palace in Kossovo is a unique monument of neo-gothic architecture of the 19th century and is considered the gem of Belarus. Apart from Belarusians, we welcome many tourists from the Russian Federation. We also host guests from Poland, Germany, Austria, the Republic of Korea, and Japan,” the cultural institution said.

The Tadeusz Kosciuszko Museum runs the permanent exhibition. The Palace of the Puslovskys offers to tour eight halls featuring the antique furniture, interior and household items. The exhibits reflect the epoch of the 19th century. The historic building also houses a hotel and a restaurant.

Development of the palace and park complex infrastructure continues. A park in the English style is gradually being laid out. There are plans to improve the lake and landscape its water area and coastal zone and turn it into a place for family recreation.

Along with the Brest Fortress, Belovezhskaya Pushcha and the Animal Park in Baranovichi, the Palace and Park Complex in Kossovo is among the top most popular sights in Brest Oblast. The long reconstruction of the palace was completed in 2022. Since then, all the halls of the historic building are open to the public.
