MINSK, 21 April (BelTA) – The share of the domestic market in total revenue of Hi-Tech Park (HTP) resident companies exceeded one-third in 2025, First Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the Supervisory Board of the Hi-Tech Park Dmitry Kalechits said in the latest episode of BelTA’s project The Nation Speaks.
The HTP today is the core of Belarus’ IT sector. “It’s important to recognize that while IT companies once worked largely to support traditional industries and businesses, a fully-fledged, self-reliant industry has now arisen, one that creates cutting-edge products and sells them both domestically and around the world, powering export expansion,” noted Dmitry Kalechits.
The geography of exports is constantly expanding. Last year, exports from HTP resident companies already surpassed $2 billion, and growth continues, he noted.
Speaking about the points of growth, Dmitry Kalechits emphasized the growing engagement of HTP resident companies in the digitalization of Belarus’ economy and enterprises. “Whereas the domestic market once accounted for only about 10% of total revenue of the resident companies, by the end of 2025 that figure had already exceeded one-third. This indicates genuine demand from Belarusian companies, as well as the ability of HTP enterprises to offer relevant products and solutions for the country’s economic entities.”
One significant trend on the rise is the move away from pure software offerings toward software-hardware systems. Such integrated solutions allow businesses to cover more of their internal processes, ultimately improving efficiency.
Dmitry Kalechits separately addressed the development of artificial intelligence (AI), which is a megatrend extending toward all sectors. “It’s clear that most of the products currently being developed by HTP resident companies utilize AI solutions,” he emphasized.
