MINSK, 28 February (BelTA) – Belarus’ Ambassador to Russia Yuri Seliverstov met with Chairman of the St. Petersburg Committee for External Relations Evgeny Grigoryev, the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Russia told BelTA.
The discussion focused on preparations for the upcoming meeting of the business cooperation council of the Republic of Belarus and St. Petersburg, which will be chaired by Belarus’ Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin and St. Petersburg Governor Aleksandr Beglov.
“The parties reviewed prospects for organizing an exhibition by the patriotic association Lenrezerv at the Minsk International Exhibition Center. They also confirmed agreements to ensure equal rights for citizens of Belarus and Russia in accessing services at St. Petersburg’s multifunctional centers for state and municipal services,” the press service noted.
“The parties also touched upon supplies of Belarusian trolleybuses and small-class tractors to St. Petersburg,” the embassy added.
