MINSK, 12 May (BelTA) – The leaders of Belarus and Vietnam, Aleksandr Lukashenko and To Lam, adopted a joint statement on the establishment of strategic partnership between the two countries at the end of talks in Minsk on 12 May, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Lukashenko called the adoption of this statement a new milestone in the relations between the two countries. “The decision is quite logical, natural and necessary for us. Staying strongly committed to these principles, we confidently continue to move forward, aiming at high-quality and long-term interaction,” he said.
