MINSK, 2 April (BelTA) – On 7 April Belarus' Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin will pay an official visit to the Russian Federation, where he will hold talks with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, BelTA learned from the government's press service.

“Russia is our strategic partner in all areas, including trade. It accounts for over 60% of our foreign trade in goods in value terms, and over 65% of exports,” the prime minister noted at the meeting to discuss preparations for the visit.

Aleksandr Turchin emphasized that it is important to maintain momentum. “There is still much to do. This includes, first of all, reinvigorating the digital agenda, completing the establishment of common energy markets, developing a unified industrial policy, unifying regulations of the transport market, and leveling the playing field for business entities,” the Belarusian head of government added.
