MINSK, 28 June (BelTA) – Experts of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) have harmonized the draft provision on the international CIS Youth Capital project. The document will be submitted to the CIS Heads of Government Council for consideration in line with the established procedure, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.

The online meeting of the expert group was held on 28 June and brought together representatives of Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation, and the CIS Executive Committee. The participants of the meeting discussed and finalized the draft provision taking into account remarks and proposals submitted by the member states.

The aim of the international CIS Youth Capital project is to step up joint work and put in place conditions for nurturing the potential of the youth and developing relevant infrastructure as important aspects of sustainable development. The CIS member states will take turns to run the project in alphabetical order (according to the Russian alphabet).
