Belarus informs UNCHR, IOM of its assessment of situation on Belarusian-Polish border

MINSK, 9 November (BelTA) - Aleksandr Opimakh, deputy head of the main department of multilateral diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with Head of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Belarus Mulusew Mamo and IOM Chief of Mission in Belarus Mahym Orazmuhammedova on 9 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

The representatives of the international organizations were informed about Belarus' assessment of the current situation on the Belarusian-Polish border. The parties discussed the possibilities of organizing interaction between the stakeholders in order to ensure the interests of vulnerable people traveling to the EU countries in search of asylum.
