Belarus, Indonesia reaffirm mutual interest in stepping up bilateral contacts

MINSK, 25 June (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolai Borisevich held talks via a video link with Director General of American and European Affairs (in the rank of Deputy Minister) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia I Gede Ngurah Swajaya on 24 June, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed the state and prospects for the development of Belarusian-Indonesian relations across a wide range of issues.

The parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in intensifying bilateral contacts and discussed the steps to implement the planned activities at the intergovernmental and interdepartmental level, including the organization of the seventh session of the intergovernmental Belarusian-Indonesian joint commission on trade, economic and technological coperation and the next round of political consultations at the level of deputy foreign ministers of the two countries.
