Supreme Organising Committee of Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 reveals official event logo

ABU DHABI, 2 June (BelTA - Emirates News Agency) - The Supreme Organising Committee of the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026, chaired by H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs, has unveiled its official event logo.

Reflecting Emirati heritage, the design draws inspiration from the UAE’s diverse natural environment, including deserts, mountains and coastal waters, to capture the spirit of both land and sea. It represents the UAE’s identity and core values of tolerance and inclusion, while also promoting unity, collaboration, and community cohesion.

The UAE’s iconic landmarks, including Zayed National Museum, Zayed Sports City and the Museum of the Future, are seamlessly integrated into the design through flowing forms that resemble sea waves and sand dunes. These elements reflect the values of resilience, ambition, shared purpose, and ongoing national progress.

Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasised that hosting a global event of this magnitude reflects the visionary leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who considers healthy lifestyles and longevity to be an essential aspect of life for all individuals, irrespective of age or background.

He further noted that the games demonstrate the UAE’s ongoing investment in the growth of its sports sector, positioning it as a vibrant platform for international engagement while affirming the nation’s reputation for delivering world-class events that encourage broad participation and foster social cohesion.

H.H. Sheikh Theyab said the UAE welcomes all participants from around the world to the Open Masters Games, promising an unforgettable celebration of movement that reflects the UAE’s values of tolerance, harmony, peace, and openness to all cultures.

Sheikh Theyab further noted that the UAE offers an ideal setting for international events thanks to its strategic location in the region, modern infrastructure, and advanced sports facilities, which contribute to a high quality of life, expanded opportunities for community participation, and improved physical wellbeing.

Sergei Bubka, President of the International Masters Games Association, said, “The Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 will serve as a meaningful international platform that brings together participants from around the world and fosters lasting human connections. With the UAE hosting the games, it further strengthens its position as a trusted venue for major global events and confirms the confidence placed in the country by the international sports community.”
