MINSK, 1 February (BelTA) – The U.S. company Ivy Global is considering setting up a pharmaceutical factory in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone. This matter was in focus of a visit of the company's top managers to the industrial park, BelTA learned from the website of the Great Stone.
“The parties discussed the business environment in the industrial park, benefits and advantages to its resident companies, and its development plans. Possible avenues of cooperation were also on the agenda of the negotiations. The company expressed its intent to establish a pharmaceutical factory in the Great Stone industrial park to produce a wide range of medicines, including for COVID-19,” the park said.
The representatives of Ivy Global also visited manufacturing sites of the park that are ready for the fastest possible launch of the new project.
The China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone is a special economic zone with a special legal regime. It is located 25km away from Minsk. The industrial park is home to 68 resident companies from 14 countries. The park's priority development areas include mechanical engineering, electronics and telecommunications, biotechnologies, pharmaceutics, new materials, logistics, digital commerce, big data storage and processing.
