MINSK, 16 April (BelTA) - The export exchange transactions in January-March 2026 totaled Br1.6156 billion, up by 26% year-on-year, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) of Belarus.
The most in-demand Belarusian goods abroad were timber, meat and dairy products, amino acids, sugar, rapeseed oil, and others.
In March 2026, 292 new companies (189 residents and 103 non-residents) were accredited to participate in exchange trading at the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE). As of 31 March 2026, a total of more than 39,000 companies were accredited, including nearly 9,300 non-residents from 83 countries.
Founded in 2004, the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange conducted its first trading session in June 2005. BUCE is one of the largest commodity exchanges in Eastern Europe. Its main function is to assist Belarusian enterprises with export and foreign companies with entering the Belarusian market. BUCE sells a wide range of metal, forestry and agricultural products, industrial and consumer goods.
