MINSK, 6 May (BelTA) – I am ready for pressure from the Polish authorities in connection with my departure to Belarus, Polish judge Tomasz Szmydt, who asked the Belarusian authorities for protection, said at a press conference in BelTA’s press center, BelTA has learned.
"I know how the media work in the West, I know how they work in Poland. I'm sure I'm going to be either a spy or a drug addict. They will make me out to be a man who has debts, who left his wife. Let them try. I'm ready for that. I hope here you will find out who I really am," Tomasz Szmydt said.
As BelTA has reported, Polish judge Tomasz Szmydt signed a letter of resignation during the press conference in Minsk. He declares his protest to the Polish authorities, who, under the influence of the United States and the UK, are leading the country to war.
