MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – The National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus has joined the international cultural and education campaign Night of Museums, BelTA learned from the press service of Belarus’ NOC.

During the NOC’s Night of Museum event, Alla Tsuper and Anton Kushnir, champions of the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games, donated their gold medals to the museum exposition. Anton Kushnir also donated his 2009/2010 World Cup Crystal Globe.

“This is the first time I have taken part in the campaign. I really enjoyed talking to the visitors of the exposition. We have great and loyal fans. I decided to take the opportunity to donate my Sochi gold medal to the Olympic Museum. I did it with great pleasure. I want our fans to come and recall the achievements of our athletes,” Alla Tsuper said.

“Such meetings are definitely a must. I got a lot of positive emotions. This is a great opportunity to talk and share our memories. Let our medals remind all the museum visitors of the glorious moments in the history of national sports,” Anton Kushnir said.
