Belarus, Pakistan reach strategic level of partnership

ISTANBUL, 14 April (BelTA) – Belarus-Pakistan relations in various fields are increasingly vibrant, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said as he met with Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain in Istanbul on 14 April, BelTA informs.

“Last year was a special year for our countries. It will make history,” the Belarusian head of state remarked. Belarus and Pakistan have established strategic partnership within a year, he added.

The President of Belarus remarked that he was impressed by the prompt resolution of the most serious issues, including the organization of top-level visits, by Pakistan. “We have made rapid progress in many areas of bilateral cooperation. Our main objective is to step up efforts, and we are prepared for it,” Alexander Lukashenko said.

Mamnoon Hussain also praised a big dynamics in the development of bilateral cooperation from the point of view of the visits and the singing of important agreements.
