MINSK, 15 February (BelTA) – The IBU World Cup stages 8 and 9 in Nove Mesto, the Czech Republic will take place as scheduled on 1-14 March, BelTA learned from the website of the tournament organizers.
“We have already played host to competitions without fans. Now there is another problem, and this time it is related to health and safety. I believe that in cooperation with our experienced medical team we will cope with everything and that the two-week event in Nove Mesto will be a success,” said head of the organizing committee Jiri Gamza.
Earlier it was announced that the IBU World Cup final stage will be held in Ostersund, Sweden on 15-21 March. Initially the competitions were to take place in Holmenkollen, but due to the restrictions imposed in connection with the coronavirus, Norway will not be able to host the event.
