Belarusian Hanna Sola fourth in Women's 7.5km Sprint in Ruhpolding

MINSK, 15 January (BelTA) - Belarusian Hanna Sola was fourth in the Women's 7.5km Sprint at IBU World Cup 5 in Ruhpolding, Germany, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian finished the race 50.1 seconds behind the winner while not allowing a single miss on two shooting ranges. Norway's Tiril Eckhoff topped the podium with 18:55.5. Silver went to Swedish Hanna Oberg (29.7 seconds behind). Italian Dorothea Virer rounded off the top three with 36.8 seconds behind.

Other Belarusian athletes showed the following results: Elena Kruchinkina was 16th, Iryna Kryuko 49th, Irina Kruchinkina 83rd

The IBU World Cup will continue with the men's sprint on 16 January.

The IBU World Cup 5 will wrap up on 19 January with pursuit races for men and women.
