Spring in Gomel international expo to be held on 20-27 May

GOMEL, 18 May (BelTA) – The 22nd edition of the Spring in Gomel international expo will be held on vesna.ccigomel.by on 20-27 May, the organizers told BelTA.

This time the expo will focus on interregional contacts. The program of events includes online meetings in the R2R format (Region 2 Region) involving representatives of government agencies, chambers of commerce and industry, business associations, and entrepreneurs. There will also be presentations of regions and companies interested in cooperation with Gomel Oblast, webinars, workshops and consultations.

“The proposals to be made by the expo participants will be closely studied by the Gomel branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI). We will be able to communicate these proposals to a large audience of our partners, while participants of the Spring in Gomel forum will be able to expand their contact base,” the organizers said.

The program of the expo will include the roundtable session: “Artisans: business or entrepreneurship. Cooperation with chambers of commerce and industry”. It is meant to discuss ways to support and promote entrepreneurship.

Since the maiden exhibition held 21 years ago, the Spring in Gomel international forum has become the hallmark of Gomel Oblast, one of the most significant international events in the region. It is attended by senior officials of the city of Gomel and Gomel Oblast, central government members, representatives of diplomatic missions, chambers of commerce and industry and businesses. Spring in Gomel is designed to showcase the economic potential of the region and to be a platform for business talks and exchange of views with foreign partners.

The forum is traditionally organized by the Gomel branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee.
