MINSK, 3 February (BelTA) – A number of air defense units armed with air defense missile systems S-400 Triumf have arrived in Belarus from Russia's Fast East, the Defense Ministry told BelTA.
The army units will participate in a combat readiness test of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.
The units will carry out air defense missions in a military training area in Brest Oblast.
The units are now busy setting up and camouflaging their positions in addition to taking care of hardware maintenance. During the combat readiness test the units will enter combat duty as part of the Belarusian-Russian joint regional air defense system.
