Putin appoints Yevgeny Lukyanov as ambassador to Belarus

MINSK, 25 March (BelTA) – Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Yevgeny Lukyanov as ambassador to Belarus. The respective decree was published on Russia's Official Portal of Legal Information. Yevgeny Lukyanov will replace Dmitry Mezentsev in this capacity, TASS reports.

“Appoint Yevgeny Lukyanov Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Belarus,” the document reads. Vladimir Putin's another decree relieved Yevgeny Lukyanov of his post as ambassador to Latvia.
