MINSK, 13 June (BelTA) - The potential for cooperation between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan is very significant, Sergei Molunov, who has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Kyrgyz Republic, told the media in Minsk on 13 June, BelTA has learned.
"The head of state described the relations between Belarus and the Kyrgyz Republic as brilliant. This is true, indeed. We value very much the current level of friendly, allied relations between Belarus and the Kyrgyz Republic, which are based on deep historical roots, a shared heroic historical past," the diplomat said.
He also stressed: "Clear guidelines for interaction with Kyrgyzstan have been outlined. The work will be based on these guidelines."
