Over 5.7m Belarusians now fully vaccinated against COVID-19

MINSK, 19 April (BelTA) – Over 6.145 million people in Belarus have got the first shot of a COVID-19 vaccine, of them over 5.707 million have completed the vaccination process, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

Over 104,300 teenagers aged 12-17 have received one shot of the vaccine, of them more than 78,400 children have been fully vaccinated.

Thus, 65.7% of the population of the Republic of Belarus have received one dose of the vaccine, 61% have been fully vaccinated.

Belarusians are also getting booster shots of the vaccine, with 7.01% of the population having completed it so far.
