MINSK, 25 October (BelTA) – Lithuania’s border service halted the processing of cargo and passenger vehicles arriving from Belarus at 9:40 pm on 24 October, the State Customs Committee of Belarus informs.
The prime minister of Lithuania stated that the border checkpoints would remain closed until noon on 25 October. This latest decision by the neighboring country was made without prior notification to Belarus.
The State Customs Committee will provide updates as the situation develops.
