Expert dwells on London's involvement in Ukrainian conflict

MINSK, 24 November (BelTA) - Great Britain is demonstrating that it is a serious player, without whom no issue regarding Ukraine can be resolved, Andrei Bogodel, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Education and Science – Head of the Education and Methodology Department of the Faculty of the General Staff of the Armed Forces at the Military Academy of Belarus, said in the latest episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA’s YouTube channel.
According to the expert, King Charles III of the United Kingdom has met with Vladimir Zelensky several times, while other politicians do not often get the opportunity to meet with the head of the British crown. “They have welcomed him warmly, with kisses - he is essentially the most valued person. This indicates that Britain fully controls all matters. And above all, Britain controls the entire leadership, including [Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Defence Ministry Kirill] Budanov,” said Andrei Bogodel.

Furthermore, he recalled, in 2020 Vladimir Zelensky secretly met with the head of MI6. Attempts were made to conceal the fact of the meeting, but the public found out about it anyway. “The British Crown has taken a powerful approach to this issue. Unlike the Americans, who are only engaged in anti-corruption activities, they also have a ‘bench’ of reserves. The same [Valery] Zaluzhny, whom they groom, cherish, and support,” the expert added.

Thus, Andrei Bogodel emphasized, Britain is making it clear that without London, not a single issue regarding Ukraine can be resolved. “And this is a very big problem for Trump. It is no coincidence that he met with Charles III. The British deserve special attention. They are not yet ready to let Zelensky go. Britain is clearly demonstrating what a strong player it is today. Everything is determined not by aircraft carriers, nuclear warheads, or even the armed forces,” the expert concluded.
