GOMEL, 24 December (BelTA) - Economic stability is the foundation for a strong family, Anna Savenko, Second Secretary of the Gomel Regional Committee of the Belarusian Youth Union BRSM, a delegate to the seventh Belarusian People's Congress, told BelTA following the congress that approved the social and economic development program for 2026-2030.
This is something the BRSM does by organizing numerous family-oriented competitions and social projects, Anna Savenko added.
For young people, the concepts of a “prosperous family” and a “prosperous economy” are inextricably linked, she believes. “Economic stability is the foundation for a strong family. In turn, a strong economy benefits from a healthy, socially responsible, and demographically sustainable society built on strong family bonds,” she emphasized.
As a delegate from the BRSM, Anna Savchenko believes it is important to promote the institution of the family in its traditional understanding among young people, and also to enhance the prestige of having many children and the image of a woman as a mother.
