CIS mission: No serious flaws during referendum in Belarus so far

MINSK, 24 February (BelTA) - So far, we have registered no serious flaws during the referendum in Belarus, the head of the CIS observation mission, Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee – CIS Executive Secretary Ilkhom Nematov said as he met with Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Valery Mitskevich in Minsk on 24 February, BelTA has learned.

"Our long-term observers have been working here since 1 February. They have informed that so far no serious violations have been found," Ilkhom Nematov said.

According to him, everything is well organized. "All voting sites have all the necessary materials. There are voting lists. Voters can get acquainted with the changes that are being made to the Constitution at a polling station," the head of the mission added.
