
BREST, 25 September (BelTA) - Brest border guards are ready for the opening of the border with Poland, Aleksei Prokopenya, the head of the Warsaw Bridge border control unit, told the media, BelTA has learned.
According to him, the work is proceeding as normal.
Belarusian border guards started allowing vehicles into the territory of the Brest border checkpoint (Terespol on the Polish side) as early as 23:00.

“Brest border guards are ready for the opening of the state border with the neighboring side. More personnel has been deployed to clear vehicles entering Belarus and exiting the country as quickly as possible,” Aleksei Prokopenya noted.
According to him, the work is proceeding as normal.
