MINSK, 2 November (BelTA) – Belavia Belarusian Airlines has introduced experimental tariffs for most of its regular flights, BelTA learned from the airline.

“In the run-up to the 85th anniversary of civil aviation in the Republic of Belarus, with a view to making air travel more affordable to Belarusians and in order to increase tourist flows to Belarus on the 30-day visa waiver, Belavia is introducing experimental tariffs for most of its regular flights till the end of the winter schedule,” the air carrier informed.

The experimental tariffs will be available for the following destinations: Sochi, Amsterdam, Almaty, Barcelona, Brussels, Berlin, Budapest, Yerevan, Batumi, Geneva, Hanover, Kharkov, Kaliningrad, Kazan, St. Petersburg, Larnaca, London, Lvov, Milan, Odessa, Paris, Prague, Rome, Rostov, Stockholm, Tbilisi, Tel Aviv, Belgrade, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnodar, Chisinau and Astana. Tickets to some destinations will be 75% off.

For example, a one-way flight from Minsk to Barcelona, Milan, Paris and London will cost €35, to Brussels €45.

Promo tickets will be available only on the company's website www.belavia.by starting from 2 November. Discounts will apply only if tickets are purchased at least 45 days prior to a flight.

The number of promo tickets is limited.

“By introducing promo tickets we sought to make air travel more affordable and allow our passengers to enjoy the comfort of direct fights with our airline. We hope that Belarusians will appreciate our move and will travel from Minsk more often. Apart from that, we are convinced that this initiative of our company will become a real contribution to the promotion of inbound tourism to the Republic of Belarus,” Belavia Director General Anatoly Gusarov said.

Passengers buying promo tickets should keep in mind that some conditions apply. For example, they can stay in the country of destination no longer than 1 month. Promo tickets can be combined with other economy class tariffs. Promo tickets, including a combination of promo tickets and regular tickets, cannot be cancelled. No changes or refunds will be made. Passengers should use promo tickets starting from the first airport of departure indicated in the ticket. If passengers fail to show up at the first airport of departure, the tickets will be annulled for the entire itinerary, so passengers will not be able to use their tickets for the return flight and the money, including taxes and charges, will not be refunded.
