MINSK, 12 November (BelTA) – The Polish Defense Ministry continues publishing provocative statements, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
According to the source, the Polish Defense Ministry publishes videos accompanied by knowingly false information. In reality a group of refugees from the spontaneous camp, including women and children, came up to the Polish fence in the Polish territory in order to once again apply for protection in Poland. One man fainted after some time. However, instead of providing the assistance women and children had been asking for the Polish side continued calmly lighting the refugees with stroboscopes and filming what was happening.
Belarusian military personnel arrived at the scene. They repeatedly asked the refugees to get back to Belarus. Since the territory right in front of the fence is Polish, they could not approach the man to provide medical aid without violating the border.
The State Border Committee accused the Polish side of attempting to discredit Belarusian military. The source said: “As you can see, right now all the efforts of the Polish side are aimed at vigorous propagation of disinformation instead of the resolution of the migration crisis at the European Union border. Poland continues blatantly demonstrating impunity of its actions that are clearly in violation of international law.”
