MINSK, 9 October (BelTA) – Belarus and Laos have identified areas for military-technical cooperation, the press service of Belarus’ State Authority for Military Industry told BelTA.
The 8th session of the joint Belarus-Laos commission on military-technical cooperation was held on 9 October. As a result of the meeting, the parties signed a final protocol and a cooperation plan for 2026-2027, outlining the further development of the bilateral partnership.

The parties agreed to implement a number of promising projects aimed at strengthening Laos’ defense capability. The parties also focused on developing human resources, including the training of specialists at Belarusian educational institutions. “The documents lay the foundation for long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries,” the press service of the State Authority for Military Industry emphasized.
