Belarus to expand production of antiretroviral drugs

Domestically manufactured medicines account for 66% of all antiretroviral medications used in Belarus. The lineup of registered ART drugs produced in Belarus features 10 names and will be expanded taking into account new production venues.

Belarus to increase purchase of hepatitis C drugs twofold

“In 2017 alone, we used the latest treatment protocols to treat over 1,000 patients having hepatitis C. We see that the treatment works. This year we are set to double the purchase of these medicines. Next year the number of hepatitis C patients to be treated using modern treatment protocols will increase,” Valery Malashko said.

Finnair was named top on-time performer among the airlines with fewer than a hundred flights per month, with a punctuality rate of 100%. The airline landed without delay all its 16 flights.
Backup boiler house of first unit of Belarusian nuclear power plant now operational

All the four electrode boilers in the boiler house now operate at 20% of the designed capacity. They allow generating saturated steam for technological needs of the nuclear power plant, including steam to heat auxiliary premises in the startup facilities of the first unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant.
