Lukashenko: Some Russian ammunition may stay in Belarus after exercise

OSIPOVICHI DISTRICT, 17 February (BelTA) - Some Russian ammunition may remain in Belarus after the joint exercise Allied Resolve 2022 finishes, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko told the media after he reviewed the Belarusian-Russian exercise Allied Resolve 2022 at the Osipovichi training ground on 17 February, BelTA has learned.

"We have an agreement (I should have dodged this question but I will answer it sincerely): instead of transporting back and forth the ammunition that we need, we decided to keep it here. As for the hardware... I have seen today that there are several types of advanced hardware that we need. For example, Iskander and some others. We will buy this equipment, and will get it as a gift from our elder brother," Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
