Lukashenko sends National Day greetings to Croatia

MINSK, 25 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Croatian President Zoran Milanovic as the country celebrates the Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The importance and value of sovereignty for every nation cannot be overestimated. Belarusians and Croats have won hard their independence and are making considerable efforts to preserve it for next generations, the head of state noted.

"Today it is very important not to let alien ideas and visions replace the eternal, traditional foundations of your own people," Aleksandr Lukashenko said. "We share the desire to defend our voice, to protect our people, to create a better future for our states, preserving their identity and independence."
