MINSK, 10 November (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated the employees and veterans of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism on its 30th anniversary, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Strengthening public health, developing high-performance sport, and promoting a mass physical education movement are priority areas of state policy, and their implementation is the ministry’s primary task,” the message reads.
The head of state noted that the established training system enables Belarusian athletes to achieve spectacular victories at major international tournaments and Olympic Games. “These achievements are the pride of the nation and a testament to the strength of the Belarusian spirit,” the president emphasized.
Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed special gratitude to the veterans – all those who have worked tirelessly for the glory of Belarusian sport, preserving and enhancing its victorious traditions.
The head of state wished the employees and veterans of the ministry health, peace, and new achievements in the name of the Motherland.
