MOSCOW, 26 September (BelTA) - We have agreed on a five-year gas supplies, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko told the media after the talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin, BelTA has learned.
“We discussed both the international situation and the regional situation. Naturally, among the items was our common trouble and problem - Ukraine. We talked a lot about that. The bilateral relations were on the agenda too. These are the issues regarding oil and gas. Regarding oil, we have reached an agreement - we have serious arrangements, there are no problems. Regarding gas, we have reached agreements too. I think that after this conversation, we will finalize these issues. Essentially for a five-year period. That was the key point - not for one year, but for a five-year period," the head of state said.
“When we meet, there are a multitude of questions on to discuss,” Aleksandr Lukashenko added.

He noted that they also discussed the common market, including its protection: “What measures we can take to enable our producers to operate.”
