MINSK, 23 March (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Kim Jong Un on his re-election as president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“The unanimous adoption of this decision by the Supreme People’s Assembly reflects the collective will of the Korean people and their full support for your consistent policy of strengthening the country’s independence and enhancing the welfare of its citizens,” the message reads.
The head of state expressed confidence that Kim Jong Un’s efforts in this responsible role will continue to promote the development of the DPRK and the prosperity of its citizens.
The Belarusian president reaffirmed Minsk’s interest in actively expanding political and economic ties with Pyongyang at various levels.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Kim Jong Un good health and productive work in his state affairs.
