Call to do everything to save lives of patients in Belarusian hospitals

MINSK, 7 April (BelTA) – It is necessary to do everything to save lives of people, including coronavirus patients. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the relevant statement during a government conference held on 7 April, BelTA has learned.

Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “Everyone should do their jobs. Without panic, calmly and beautifully. You and I should win beautifully, we should save people decently. People should not think that [if] they get hospitalized with the virus, they are doomed. No. We will save everyone we can. And we should do our utmost for it.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko once again implored not to blow the topic out of proportions. He said he was ready to start helping medics in person if necessary. “If I can do anything for you, tell me, please. I've already told the minister: if need be, you and I will go and treat people together. He told me it is not necessary yet.”
