Belarus president appoints new deputy ministers, officials

MINSK, 11 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko approved the appointment of new deputy ministers and deputy heads of a number of agencies, BelTA has learned.

Nikolai Borisevich will be the deputy minister of foreign affairs. Previously he worked as the head of the Main Department for Asia, Africa and Latin America of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Besides, the president approved the appointment of Yevgeny Lazarev as Belarus' consul general in Dubai (the UAE).

Igor Skrinnikov was appointed the deputy taxes and duties minister. Before the appointment he worked as the head of the Main Department for Taxation Methodology of the Taxes and Duties Ministry.

Tatyana Brantsevich will become the economy minister. Previously she worked as the deputy chairperson of the Economy Committee of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee.

Denis Moroz was appointed the deputy energy minister. Before the appointment he was the director of NII Belgiprogaz.

Sergeu Kalinovsky will work as the deputy justice minister. Previously he led the Main Department of Justice of the Brest Oblast Executive Committee.

The president approved the appointment of Dmitry Bartashevich as the first deputy chairman of the State Committee for Standardization. He was promoted from the deputy chairman of this agency.

The head of state also approved the appointment of Anatoly Sharshun as the director of the Securities Department of the Finance Ministry. Previously he worked as the deputy head of this department.

Piotr Dulub, former head of the Transportation Service Department of Belarusian Railways, was appointed the first deputy head of Belarusian Railways.
