MINSK, 26 October (BelTA) - A Turkish parliamentary delegation led by Selman Eser, the head of the Türkiye-Belarus friendship group in the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, will be on a visit to Belarus on 25-30 October 2025, BelTA learned from the press service of the House of Representatives.
The delegation arrived at the invitation of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
A joint meeting of the working groups on inter-parliamentary cooperation between Belarus and Türkiye will be held during the visit.
The Turkish delegation is scheduled to meet with the leadership of the National Assembly of Belarus and to tour a number of Belarusian mechanical engineering enterprises and cultural institutions.
The parties are expected to discuss a wide range of issues concerning inter-parliamentary cooperation, collaboration in trade, economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian matters, exchange experience in legislative activities, and share opinions on a number of pressing international problems.
Head of the Türkiye-Belarus parliamentary friendship group in the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Selman Eser will also participate in the 3rd Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security.
The working group on cooperation with the Turkish Parliament in the National Assembly of Belarus of the eighth convocation was established in May 2024. The mission of the working group is to promote Belarusian-Turkish relations.
