MINSK, 4 November (BelTA) – On 3 November Belarus' Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikalai Barysevich received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Republic of Belarus Mohammad Aloumrani, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The diplomats reviewed bilateral cooperation in politics, trade, economy and humanitarian field.
They also discussed the exchange of visits, preparations for the 8th meeting of the Belarus-Syria Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation, as well as mutual support in the international arena.
The Syrian ambassador expressed gratitude for the humanitarian aid provided by the Republic of Belarus to the Syrian people.
