
MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) – Belarus and Venezuela have confirmed their commitment to developing bilateral relations during a meeting between Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov and Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs Yván Gil Pinto, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties confirmed their commitment to developing relations, strengthening political dialogue, and expanding economic, social, and humanitarian cooperation,” the press service said.
The ministers discussed the next round of political consultations and further interaction within the framework of the joint commission on trade and economic cooperation.
Maxim Ryzhenkov reiterated Belarus’ unwavering support for Venezuela’s sovereignty and legitimate government, and condemned any external interference in its internal affairs.
