MINSK, 26 June (BelTA) – Interaction in the emerging multipolar world should be based on equality and fairness, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the plenary session of the 4th Eurasian Economic Forum in Minsk on 26 June, BelTA has learned.
The Russian leader noted that EAEU member states continue working to strengthen integration mechanisms and enhance the union’s authority and influence on the international stage. “Our alliance is always open to cooperation with all interested foreign partners. Mutually beneficial ties are actively developing with countries across Eurasia, Africa, and Latin America,” he emphasized.
Vladimir Putin pointed out that tomorrow’s meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council is expected to include the signing of economic cooperation agreements with the UAE. Discussions are also underway on trade liberalization with Indonesia, Egypt, and India.
“In this way, our integration alliance is making a real contribution to the creation of a vast space for partnership, cooperation, and economic growth on our common Eurasian continent: a space where the rights of every state to pursue its own development model are respected and the interests of all participants are taken into account. We are convinced that such fair and equal foundations must underlie interaction in the new multipolar world,” the Russian president said.
