Plans to sell more Belarusian vehicles, machines, equipment to Kazakhstan

MINSK, 28 June (BelTA) – Belarus is going to sell more vehicles, machines, equipment to Kazakhstan, BelTA learned from Belarusian Industry Minister Piotr Parkhomchik.

The official said that instructions had been given to sell more tractors and harvesters to Kazakhstan. “We see that Kazakhstan can take many more vehicles and machines that we planned at the beginning of the year. The localization of manufacturing of Gomselmash and MTZ products is also very important. I am glad that private companies will participate in localization as well: we've brought representatives of private companies to Kazakhstan with us, the companies will take care of manufacturing external and internal parts, glass,” Piotr Parkhomchik said.

A number of contracts were signed in Kazakhstan's capital on 28 June after negotiations of Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko and Kazakhstan Prime Minister Askar Mamin. In line with the contract with the trading house Belarusian Tractor the Belarusian tractor manufacturer MTZ will ship 590 tractors worth $10 million to Kazakhstan. The Belarusian automobile engineering company MAZ and Hyundai Trans Auto signed a contract on shipping MAZ trailer assembly kits worth $1.5 million to Kazakhstan.

The Belarusian haul truck manufacturer BelAZ signed a contract with TOO AstanaBelazServis K on shipping BelAZ products to the tune of $1.2 million. The Belarusian agricultural machinery manufacturer Bobruiskagromash will ship $1 million worth of products to the company's distributors in Kazakhstan.

The Belarusian agricultural machinery manufacturer Gomselmash and AgromashHolding KZ signed an agreement on advancing cooperation in 2021-2022.
