Belarus' Mogilev Oblast, Russia's Kamchatka discuss ways to increase mutual supplies

MINSK, 3 February (BelTA) – Representatives of the Mogilev office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia's Kamchatka Krai discussed ways to increase mutual supplies of products during an online working meeting of the heads of the chambers on 2 February, BelTA learned from the regional office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Attending the meeting on Belarus' behalf were Director General of the BelCCI office in Mogilev Gennady Cherny, Deputy Director General for Foreign Economic Ties Tatyana Alekseyeva, Head of the office of the Belarusian embassy in Khabarovsk Valery Sakhno. Taking part in the meeting on Russia's behalf were President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kamchatka Krai Evgeny Kabanov and Head of the Expert Evaluation department Vitaly Kondratov.

“The two regions held their presentations. We discussed various economic sectors which could be of interest for Belarusian and Russian business, and also possible areas for joint cooperation. We also agreed to look into the issue of supplies of fish products to Belarus, increase the range of meat and dairy products, canned goods, confectionery products supplied to Kamchatka Krai, as well as supplies of agricultural equipment of Mogilev Oblast enterprises and development of tourist services,” the BelCCI office in Mogilev said.

Representatives of the BelCCI office in Mogilev also held an online meeting with President of the Ryazan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tatyana Guseva and her deputies. The participants made brief presentations of the regions, the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Mogilev and Ryazan, as well as the social project of the Ryazan Chamber of Commerce and Industry “Care”. “We discussed cooperation between the chambers and areas of mutual interest for the business of the two regions, and agreed to develop cooperation in sheep breeding and processing of hides, pig breeding and exhibition and fair activities,” said the representatives of the chamber.
