MINSK, 6 September (BelTA) – Belarus' export of agricultural and food products in January-July 2021 amounted to more than $3.5 billion, up 9.6% year-on-year, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.
“In January-July, Belarusian food was supplied to 97 countries. The increase in supplies was observed practically in all regions. Export to the CIS countries, including the Russian Federation, increased by 4.8%, to Asia and Oceania - by 44.2%, the EU - 44.4%, America and the Caribbean - 78.1%, Africa - 29.2%. Food exports to the People's Republic of China increased by 46.1%. Overall, shipments to non-CIS countries increased by 44.9% compared with the same stretch a year ago,” the press service said.
Export of milk and dairy products rose by 5.6%, beef – by 12.5%, sausage products – by 30.8%, fish and fish products – by 19.2%, eggs – by 37.5%, potatoes – by 15.2%, and rapeseed oil – two times.
